  4. 1/4 cup Sugar (powdered)
  5. 1/4 cup Milk

  8. 1 tbsp slivered Cashews
  9. For Rabdi
  10. 1/2 litre Milk(full cream)
  11. 1 pinch Saffron
  12. 2 tbsp Sugar

  14. 1 tsp Rose water
  15. For Assemble
  16. 5 White sandwich bread slices
  17. 1 tbsp slivered Pistachios
  18. 1/2 tbsp slivered Almond

Steps to make to make Bread Malai Roll

  1. For khoya, heat 1 tbsp ghee in a nonstick pan and add 1/4 cup milk.
  2. Now add milk powder and mix well.
  3. Cook on low flame till the mixture becomes dry.
  4. Heat 1/2 tbsp ghee in pan and add khoya.
  5. Now add chopped almond and cashew.
  6. Add sugar powder and mix well, stuffing is ready.
  7. Add milk to a heavy bottom pan and bring the milk to a boil over high heat.
  8. Add milk powder and sugar, mix well.
  9. Cook the milk for 15 mins until it is reduced and thicken.
  10. Add saffron and rose water and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  11. Cut the sides of the bread and roll it using a rolling pin.
  12. Keep a tablespoon of filling on one side of the bread slice, brush milk on the sides of the bread and roll tightly to make a cylinder.
  13. Prepare all the slices in the same way and arrange them on a serving dish.
  14. Pour rabdi over the top, garnish with slivered nuts and saffron, serve chilled.
